End of Year Show

Last friday was my end of year show for my 2nd year of uni, which turned out really well and everyones work looked really good so thought I would put up a few photos of a few of my class mates work.

Frankie's Monsters Sketchbook

Recently i haven't been doing much work as I have been relaxing in the sun after the stressfullness of the FMP, but I have been creating lots of new Frankie's Monsters. As you can see I have filled up each page with lots of monsters and have nearly completed filling up the whole book. Soon you will see a lot of these new monsters on my other blog!

Fda Illustration Final Show

Me and my mates on the FdA Illustration (University of Brighton) course have just completed hanging our show. Which is open to everyone and can be found at Sussex Coast College Hastings Archery Road site in St. Leonards-on-Sea, East Sussex and it is open at the following times:

Saturday 3rd July 10 - 2

Monday 5th July 10 - 6

Tuesday 6th July 10 - 4

Exhibition!

These are a few shots of my exhibition that will be on the 3rd, 5th and 6th of July at Sussex Coast College Hastings on Archery Road. These are a few early shots and may change soon as ive got another board being put up soon for my other two A2 pictures togo on. I will also have my book on a little self so you can see the final piece in its true form as well as the mounted work. Another thing I will be selling the books and I will be selling badges at the show for £1 each!

Here are the badge designs of the badges I will be selling at my exhibition at Sussex Coast College Hasting on Saturday 3rd, Monday 5th and Tuesday 6th July. I will also being selling my completed book which I will upload images of as soon as its printed! =]

Very Last Page

This is the final final page of my book which I sent of to the printers today. Bit scared that its not going to come out how I want it, but will have to wait and see how it turns out. Will post the final book hopefully on tuesday, but in till than I will update the blog with new badges for the final show and other bits a piece! =]

Nearly Finished!

Sorry I haven't been blogging as much as I used to been busy finishing my book for my final project for this year! As you can see this is the last page in the book where the monster are leaving the book ready to mess up the next book.

Made these yesterday and just thought I would pit them up to show you some of the work ive been doing over the half term. These images are some of the new pages for my FMP book I am making and which is almost ready to get printed soon, but it has been a very stressful time making it and still is. Justing hoping now that it will come out looking really good to make it worth all the effort I put into it. Will upload more pages and hopefully soon i will uploads some photos of the printed out books! =]

This image is the first glipse you get off all the monsters in my FMP book and as you can see i want people to think oh i wonder what that one looks like and then later on they find out!

Hi guys sorry I haven't posted much recently been busy working, going to open houses and relaxing on the beach. Here's another new page for my FMP and this monster is tramperling on the words on the pages.

These are two of the illustration from my FMP as you can see my illustrations are the monsters which are over the top of illustrations from The Secret Garden.

Think I need to explain what my final major project is about. What I am doing is taking an old Ladybird book (The Secret Garden) and attacking it with my own monsters, because my monsters thin its really boring and want to liven it up by destroying the story and having there own party in it. Thats a brief explanation and not a very good one at that so there you go!
